Social Capital and Multilevel Territorial Management. The case of Poland

Abstract
The paper contributes to an understanding of the influence of social capital on the contemporary management of territorial organizations. Management of territorial units is understood in the context of multi-level governance. The paper presents characteristics of multi-level governance and specific social barriers that should be overcome in order to manage the development of territorial units.
