SOCIAL POWER AND PERSONALITY: QUESTION OF INTERACTION IN MODERN LEGAL REALITY

Abstract
The article deals with the features of power functioning. Particular attention paid to social power. A conceptual meaning of this phenomena is proposed. The aspects of interaction between a person and social power are highlighted. They include: 1) social power creates a social “background” of the existence of a human, nation, society; 2) social power has influence on the behavior, opinions, the mental characteristics of members of society; 3) this power determines the relations that are acceptable for a particular historical stage of a society’s development by using social norms; 4) social power controls all aspects of an individual’s environment.
