Abstract
The article is devoted to peculiarities of social protection of pharmaceutical work- ers in Ukrainian provinces of Russian Empire in 2nd half of ХІХ century. Researched procedure and grounds for appointment of measures of social assistance for pharma- ceutical workers in specified historical period. Described types of pensions, which could be assigned to pharmaceutical employee.
