Abstract
Malishena Y. Social Epistemology (Normative and Naturalistic Approaches). Researcher studies the peculiarities of modern interdisciplinary branch in philosophical research, namely social epistemology. The problematic of social epistemology as the branch of anticlassical epistemology should be considered according to the epistemology as a whole. Accept of characteristics of some notions and considering the amount of problems studied by social epistemology, special attention was paid to description of “normative” and “naturalistic” approaches in epistemological field (normatively-naturalistic social epistemology (S. Fuller). The author stressed the fact, that social epistemology is an intellectual movement of broad cross-disciplinary provenance that attempts to reconstruct the problems of epistemology is regarded as intrinsically social. In short, Social Epistemology lays some of the groundwork, or at least breaks the ground, for a new field of study (or the transformation of an old field). On the one hand, Steve Fuller’ social epistemology is the union of the philosophy of science with the sociology of knowledge. On the other hand, such social epistemology no need to be neither exclusively normative, nor exclusively naturalistic.
