Socjotechnika w cyberprzestrzeni – ataki na systemy informatyczne

Abstract
Methods of influencing more and more often are use in attacks on the information technology systems. Personal data and confidential information pose a valuable commodity for companies and corporations, which are able to get to the potential client through them. They are often hackers' loot. Internet criminals use this type of data also to their own aims which are often incompatible with the law. In the era of systems development, performing remote attack on cyber infrastructure of the company, corporation or bank is harder and harder, so the criminals use acquired manipulations skills to achieve their goals - to steal and to phishing. Thanks to such moves they limit the time which they would have to spend to realize the remote attack. Taking into account the confrontation face to face with the potential victim, it is very risky. In order to appropriate protection against unauthorized access to enter-prise's information technology system, the modification process of software and hardware needs be initiated to entered. Administrators should take care of it. The proper preparation of an employee to work where personal data are used and processed is also very important. The employee should steadily take part in trainings from the scope of the security policy. He should know mechanisms of the social engineering and can defend against them. It is the responsibility of both the employee and the employer.
