Abstract
The conference entitled: The Evolution of Societies and the African States took place at the Institute of Political Science at the Faculty Law, Administration and Management at the Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce on May 17-18, 2011. Prof. Wojciech Saletra was chairman of the conference, prof. Robert Piętek was vice-chairman of the conference, and dr. Radosław Kubicki was organisational manager and secretary of the conference.
