Olbian’s magical epigraphy also refers to the category of the most interesting phenomena of the historical significance of the ancient Hellenism in general. The paper examines four spells, that besides the fact that they are performed on ceramics, also be surprised by the fact, that they all have a round form. The question that is posed, is the question of how the Hellenistic magical practice was peculiar to spells of this form. Based on analogy in Olbia and beyond, as well as in the broader field of public Greek magic, as it is to us in the magical papyri, contextualize these four Olbian spells more tightly and systematically than before.
