СORPORATE CULTURE – A FACTOR OF SUCCESS IN BUSINESS

Abstract
The article presents the results of the analysis of the concept of corporate culture. The author focuses on the classification of the most important values and functions of corporate culture, which are inherent in Ukrainian and foreign corporations. It is recognized that the values that adhere to the Corporation members, first of all, – the basic and inspiring values, have the greatest impact on all aspects of corporate activity. The authors believe that corporate culture is becoming an important factor in the formation of the results and success of the Corporation. Economic indicators (productivity, profit, etc.) and non-economic indicators (labor activity of employees, satisfaction with labor activity, etc.) confirm this position. The interest of researchers in the field of management and entrepreneurship to the corporate culture increases due to the fact that the formation and development of corporate culture, according to the author, does not involve external support (for example, foreign investment, export of values). The whole process can be carried out at the expense of internal resources, initiative of the founders and management of corporations.
