Современное образование в эпоху глобализации: традиционная классика VS цифровые технологии

Abstract
В статті аналізуються тенденції формування та перспективи розвитку сучасної парадигми в освіті. Проводяться паралелі між класичними та інноваційними моделями навчання в контексті розгляду основних характеристик цифрового освітнього середовища, в якому розгортаються сучасні педагогічні процеси. Висвітлюються деякі аспекти глобальної проблеми комп’ютеризації навчання та пов’язані з ними питання виховання особистості студента. Наводиться короткий екскурс до проблематики моделювання штучного інтелекту та створення нейронету як альтернативного традиційним конвенціям формату освіти з фокусом на розвиток когнітивно-особистісного потенціалу студента. The article considers trends and perspectives inherent to modern educational paradigm. Parallels between classical and innovative formats of education are drawn with special emphasis placed on the idea that proliferation of digital technologies and cultures is having a profound impact on learning, prompting questions which need answers. The paper analyses challenges set forward by computerization processes and extensive use of digital technologies in teaching practices, and also highlights related problems of student’s personality development. Purpose. The purpose of this research is to determine fields of application to serve as proving ground for the “upward spiral” of global educational transformations that are occurring within the framework of generally accepted concept of eternal life renovation and, as a result, continuous ‘life-long’ learning. Methods. Analysis, synthesis, literature review, empirical study, modeling. Results. Grounded in analytical overview of recent research papers related to the issues in question, the article explores modern globalized educational landscape, suggests practical ways in which ‘networked age’ and ‘ global education’ can get good in elementary, secondary and post-secondary classroom, looks toward emerging trends and examines what the future of education may look like. The authors claim that understanding сlose and far-reaching educational perspectives enables everybody involved in education to appropriate strategies and tactical steps for teaching and learning to any subject including foreign languages. Also highlighted is the need to diversify and alter the entrenched attitudes to teaching and learning, thus getting a golden opportunity for both teachers and students to get engaged and motivate them to sustain a lifelong career in learning; discover personal inner resources, see improved working results and enjoy the professional worth. Describing different aspects such as modern educational methods, brain modeling, neuronet, personality development, digital manifesto in education, the paper sets guidelines for extensive use of teacher-free digital pedagogics to meet the nowadays challenges of turning the devices that have great potential for distraction (like smart phones, computer games, social media etc.) into the tools that inspire and engage. The guidelines focus on receiving better educational quality via info-communication, spread of global universities, creation of global market for digitalized educational services. Mapping the new educational paradigm in accordance with UNESCO papers, the article also shapes the 21 st century personality development traits which centre around raising and educating moral, respectful, reliable and responsible people. The research justifies that, parallel to robotization and neurocommunication, there appears a growing need in the teaching personnel with developed human qualities like imagination, creativity, initiative and a bent for artful creation.
