SPECIFIC PRESSURE ON THE SUPPORT ESTIMATION WITH THE ACCOUNT OF ROCK DESTRUCTION ZONE AROUND THE DEVELOPMENT WORKING

Abstract
The task of rock destruction zone formation around a level development working is considered. Plastic deformation zone size relationship with the depth of mining operations, the size of the development working and the critical maximum tangential stress of the bedding rocks has been established. On this basis, calculation of the specific pressure on the working support, depending on the magnitude of the maximum breaking shear stress in the bedding rocks is proposed. An example is given of calculating the pressure on the development working support of the “Yuzhnaia” mine, which expresses the relationship between the expected specific pressure of the destroyed rocks on the working support and the working geometric parameters, the destruction zone size and the rocks bulk density. A graphical dependence of the specific pressure on the support value on the value of the maximum destructive shear stress of the roof rocks is derived.
