SPECIFICITY OF MODERN FOLK VOCAL AT THE ART SPACE OF UKRAINE (ON THE EXAMPLE OF CHAMBER VOCAL ENSEMBLES)

Abstract
The paper analyzes the specifics of folk singing. Folk way of singing based on natural and conversational style of singing, vocal cords work, the use of natural thoracic and head cavities. We consider the activities of chamber ensembles, using folk style of singing. The ensemble's repertoire includes folk songs in the original form, the songs treatment and original compositions. The activity of these groups is a part of national culture, which combines tradition and innovation.
