SP‹NAL ENFEKSiYONLARDA MR GÖRÜNTÜLEME BULGULARI

Abstract
Spinal enfeksiyonlar, spondilit, diskit, spondilodiskit, piyojenik faset artropatisi, epidural enfeksiyonlar, menenjit, poliradikülopati ve myelitleri kapsayan hastal›k spektrumu olarak düßü- nülmelidir(1). Infektif spondilit, tüm osteomyelit olgular›n›n %2-4'ünü kapsamaktad›r. Erkeklerde iki kat fazla görülen hastal›k genellikle 5. ve 6. dekatlarda daha s›k izlenmektedir. S›kl›kla lomber ve servikal bölgeler tutulur. En s›k etken piyojenik mikroorganizma Staphylococcus aureus'tur. Bunu Streptococcus ve Pneumococcus'lar izler. Daha nadir olarak Eschericia coli, Pseudomonas, Klebsiella ve Salmonella gibi gram negatif bakteriler etken olabilir. Mycobacterium tuberculosis, brucella, mantarlar ve parazitler nonpiyojenik enfeksiyonlara neden olmaktad›r.
