Standardization of artifacts cataloging as a means of cultural heritage preserving in armed conflict

Abstract
The article examines the current state of the artifacts accounting in Ukraine and the possibilities of the protection and preservation of cultural heritage of the state in a situation of armed conflict. According to international standards for cultural values cataloging (regulations of the EEC, UNESCO, WCO, ICOM) the comparative analysis of national and international accounting and description of cultural objects systems was made. In the article the possible ways to improve the Ukrainian system of cataloging according to the international standards is proposed, the tasks which contribute to the protection and preservation of cultural values of Ukraine in a situation of armed conflict is outlined.
