Abstract
A locality of Asplenium × alternifolium Wulfen and A. septentrionale (L.) Hoffm., (Aspleniaceae) on Czarne Urwisko (Złote Mts) – a contribution to the knowledge of rare and endangered ferns of Lower Silesia A new locality of Asplenium × alternifolium Wulfen was found during field studies in 2017 on a basalt outcrop of Czarne Urwisko near Lądek Zdrój (Eastern Sudetes). Only one tussock was found; the fern grows there together with its parent species: Asplenium septentrionale L. and Asplenium trichomanes L. In order to assign the hybrid to one of the two subspecies: subsp. alternifolium or subsp. heufleri, it is necessary to determine the ploidy level of the plant.
