State regulation of crowdfunding instruments in Europe (on the example of Spain)

Abstract
The article reveals the essence of the concept of "crowdfunding" and the author proposes its own interpretation. The main types of crowdfunding activity are defined: namely, crowdfunding on the basis of remuneration, credit crowdfunding or crowdlending, donation crowdfunding or crowdfunding without financial or material remuneration, equity crowdfunding and real estate crowdfunding. The analysis of the Spanish experience in the formation and development of crowdfunding technologies was implemented. In addition, the role of state bodies in the management of crowdfunding activity and the key features of state regulation of such activity are explored. The authors conducted a study of systematization and analyze the main crowdfunding sites used in Spain, and their indicators. The features of the main crowdfunding, crowdinvesting and crowdlending platforms in Spain are investigated.
