STATEMENT «FROM THE FIRST PERSON» AS A KIND OF SOUND MANIPULATION

Abstract
The purpose of the given article is to analyze the the statement «from the first person» of the leading information-analytical programs from the point of view of psycho-acoustic influence on the viewer. The subject of the research is the infor-mation-analytical television programs of Ukraine and the Russian Federation «Facts of the Week» («Facty Tyzhnia») with Oksana Sokolova on the ICTV channel and «News of the Week» («Vesti Nedeli») with Dmitrii Kiseliov on the Russia 1 channel as one of the most iconic ones in the information space of the countries. The empirical study database focused on 448 programs with a total duration of over 650 hours. In order to determine the psychoacoustic effects there was used a monitoring method alongside with observation and content analysis. There were analyzed such factors as linguistic flow, basic pace of expression, peculiarities of vocal intonation, as well as nonverbal (gesture) behavior of the presenter. A detailed analysis of the author's programs «Facts of the Week» («Facty Tyzhnia») and «News of the Week» («Vesti Nedeli») gave a basis to suggested that TV presenters Oksana Sokolova (Ukraine) and Dmitrii Kiseliov (RF) try to influence viewers using practically the same methods and rhetorical means: colloquialism / simple conversation, voice contact and visual contact.
