Status and prospects in development of production and processing of soybeans in Ukraine

Abstract
The article reviews the main trends on the soybeans market in Ukraine, analyzes the current status of soybean production in Ukraine, pointed the causes for expanding acreage and dynamics of output and showed the advantages of soybeans production. Also analyzed the soybean`s crop capacity in Ukraine in 2005-2015 and was done a comparison between national and world`s level of it`s indicator. Also the article include research the directions of use soybeans in Ukraine and found that the vast majority of soybeans are exported but not processed within the country. Although in recent years capacities of soybean processing in Ukraine are increasing.Although. By using the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method was defined technical efficiency by input-oriented model (model inputs) for 101 agricultural enterprises of Vinnytsia region. It was determined that Ukraine has significant opportunities not only as a producer of soybean, but also as an exporter of soy products.
