STOCK GROUP “ARCHEOLOGY” OF NATIONAL HISTORICAL AND CULTURAL PARK IN LUTSK

Abstract
From 26th of March 1985, the moment of its foundation, national historical and cultural park in Lutsk isn’t only tourist and heritage centre of Volhyn. It is the centre of scientific, exposure, publishing, local history, cultural and educational work. During this time workers of park spent thousands of tours, prepared and published a number of materials of the history of Lutsk and Volhyn, make exposure, collected scientific archive, technical archive, library, photo archives and archive of icons. This publication is an attempt to analyze collection of archaeological materials, which save or exhibited in the park. Stock group “Archeology” was being formed during work of park from 2 sources: receipt of items after the patient or the prospective supervisory archaeological work and income accidental finds are of scientific archaeological value. This important material has accumulated information about the history of operation The Upper Castle, system of outskirts of the castle fortifications The Lower Castle, soldiery, everyday life of the medieval city. Among these things are tools, household items, coins, weapons, jewellery, religion things. Amount of items of stock group “Archeology”, which belongs to the national property of Museum fond of Ukraine, has 17 250 items, which 6 459 items received the results of work M. Malevska (exploration of Upper Castle, the castle palace, St. John the Divine church), 1 373 items is a result of work of B. Saychuk (research of Upper collateral locks), 5 057 items is a result of work H. Ohrimenko (research of rivers basins Styr and Chornohuzka), 547 items is a result of work M. Kuchynko (research of Upper Castle), 3 656 items is the results of work S. Terskyj (research of Upper collateral and castles and monuments in the basin Styr), 153 items is the results of the work of the author publication (research of the Old City). As an example of presentation information was “Catalogue of the collection of scientific Funds Institute of Archaeology NAS of Ukraine”. This work is the first attempt to study, to make catalog and publish materials stock group “Archaeology” of National historical and cultural park in Lutsk.
