Strengthening management of latent tuberculosis infection and accelerating the elimination of the tuberculosis epidemic

Abstract
Screening and preventive treatment for latent tuberculosis infection ï¼LTBIï¼ are important measures to reduce the incidence of active tuberculosis ï¼TBï¼ and its global burden. This paper discusses the current status of LTBI prevalence and preventive treatmentï¼ risk of incidence in high-risk groupsï¼ screening methodsï¼ and other interventionsï¼ emphasizing the importance of prevention and control as early as possible in a scientific strategyï¼ so as to lay a solid foundation for eliminating TB by 2030.
