Structural peculiarities of economic terms functioning in American political discourse (on material of election speeches of 2012 US presidential candidates)

Abstract
The article studies structural peculiarities of contemporary English economic terms functioning in structure of political discourse, represented by election speeches by 2012 presidential candidates. The target units related to root, derivative, and compound words in term function were shortlisted. The quantitative analysis of derivative forms productivity based on defining of core, main system and periphery of building elements has been provided.
