Lexical-semantic peculiarities of water plants names

Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of lexical and semantic peculiarities of water plants names in English and Ukrainian. The paper contains the results of the comparative analysis of metaphoric and metonymic transfers of water plants names in English and in Ukrainian.
