Abstract
Regional characteristics of the prevalence of consumption of narcotic and non-narcotic psychoactive substances have not been adequately studied. In the structure of the patients of the Groth Clinic, the number of patients with alcohol dependence who seek medical help has decreased. In 2006, alcoholic and classical opioid dependence were leading (approximately in equal proportions), in 2016 other forms of addiction begin to come to the fore. The number of consumers of drugstores and "legal" drugs has increased. The change in the structure of dependent patients, the appearance of new types of drugs and the absence of tests for their determination significantly affect the detection (difficulties of diagnosis), the clinical course of addictions (treatment problems and the absence of protocols, in fact syndromic treatment of new addictions), and their prognosis, duration and quality of remissions .
