Abstract

University student education is a non-negligible part of the educational system that contributes significantly to both social and cultural growth as well as to economic growth through the employability process. Education requires the acquisition of knowledge, skills and practices in social sciences. This paper conducts research to identify which are the most effective teaching methods used in the faculty, and which of these methods influence students in the learning process. At the end of this paper a series of recommendations are addressed to students and teachers concerned with increasing the motivation and autonomy in learning, respectively by diversifying teaching strategies for teachers to help students in the learning process.
