Student’s individual educational trajectory: theoretical aspects of organization

Abstract
The article is devoted to the definition and theoretical substantiation of the peculiarities of the organization of student’s individual educational trajectory in the conditions of a modern institution of higher education. The approaches to the definition of essence of “individual educational trajectory” notion in modern studies have been analyzed, it has been found out that scientists, revealing the content of this notion, are mainly limited to the educational process. It has been substantiated that student’s individual educational trajectory provides ways to achieve, important for one, educational goals both in educational activity and in various kinds of extracurricular activities and self-development. It has been revealed that student’s individual educational trajectory of educational goal achievement is determined jointly with pedagogues as a program of individual educational activity, which transforms student from passive “receiver” of educational services to the subject of their determination and ordering. It has been determined that the student’s individual educational trajectory should be considered consciously and responsibly chosen way of realizing personal and professional potential taking into account standard of education requirements and their own values-semantic settings, needs, motivations, opportunities and experience, designed and organized by teachers’ pedagogical support in the individual educational program of educational activity, which is realized on the developed individual educational route. During the study, it has been proved that the individual educational trajectory, the individual educational program and the individual educational route are interrelated and interconnected elements of one process, which determines the personal way of realizing the student’s personal and professional potential, which one chose accordingly to one’s motives, needs, value- semantic settings, abilities and opportunities to achieve, important to one, educational results (products). It has been revealed that recognition of oneself as the subject of personal and professional formation increases student’s responsibility for the results of one’s professional training, stimulates the knowledge of all possibilities for self-development, which are there in the educational space of institution of higher education. It has been shown that the effectiveness of realization of the students’ individual educational trajectory is determined by internal and external factors.
