STUDENT’S LANGUAGE PERSONALITY: VERBAL-SEMANTIC LEVEL OF REALIZATION

Abstract
The applied aspect of the notion of linguistic personality is analyzed in the article. The correlation between the notions “linguistic personality” and “native speaker” is determined. The verbal-semantic level of the linguistic personality of the student is described on the basis of experimental data. The main features by which students defi ne the concept of “linguistic personality” are described, the layers of the student’s vocabulary according to the functional-style criterion are described. Levels of the student’s linguistic identifi cation and linguistic consciousness are determined.
