Abstract
Studies upon chemoresistance of UV lacquer coatings on the wooden floor materials. The aim of the undertaken project was the determination of the resistance to some liquid of the UV lacquer coatings formed on some species of wood (doussié, iroko , jatoba, merbau and oak), against some liquids in action of thermal aging. Surface of samples previously subjected to aging changes temperature cycles acc. to PN-88/F-06100/07 (A method), as well as of non-aged ones were tested for the resistance to household liquids action. Resistance of surface coatings to liquid action was determined with so called chemical test described in PN-EN/13442 standard with the use of a 5 degree results scale (5-no visible changes, 1-changes of structure surface). In conclusions it was stated among others, that susceptibility of the lacquer coatings on spotting in chemoresistance tests, depended first of all, since in the interaction between the liquids and the kind of wood species on which were formed finishing. Wood species finished with UV lacquer coatings, can be ranked in terms of chemoresistance to household liquids as follows (from top ): oak > iroko > merbau > jatoba >doussié. Keywords:
