Study on solid-liquid equilibrium of N-bromosuccinamide<br /> in water, ethanol, acetone<br />

Abstract

The solubility data of N-bromosuccinamide in water, ethanol and acetone are measured using dynamic method with laser-monitoring observation. The experimental data are correlated successfully with λh equation, and the solubility curves are protracted. The average relative error between the calculated values and the experimental values of 41 data points were 0.90%. It is indicated that the λh equation make good suitability. This study not only enrich the thermodynamic database, but also is available in the production and application of N-bromosuccinamide.
