Studying the relationship between organizational health and its dimensions with organizational effectiveness in Pasargad Oil Company, East region

Abstract

The main purpose of this research was to investigate the relationship between organizational health and its dimensions with organizational effectiveness among the experts and managers of Pasargad Oil Company units in the east region. The is research was an applied one in terms of object and was methodologically a correlation research. The statistical population of this study was all experts and managers of Pasargad Oil Company in the East region. The data collection method of the present research was a combination of library methods and field method for collecting research data in order to conduct quantitative analyzes to answer research hypotheses. The main tool for collecting information for the research is questionnaire as well. The findings of the research indicated that there is a direct significant relationship between organizational health and organizational effectiveness. Among the organizational health dimensions, the dimension of institutional identity has a significant inverse relationship with organizational effectiveness. The manager's influence has a direct significant relationship with organizational effectiveness and the other dimensions have no significant relationship with organizational effectiveness. There is also a significant linear relationship between the predictive variables (institutional identity and manager’s influence) and criterion variable (organizational effectiveness); both the institutional health and manager’s influence is significantly able to predict the organizational effectiveness positively which altogether about 17% organizational effectiveness variance is predictable by institutional identity and manager’s influence (from organizational health dimensions).
