Abstract
The interaction of law enforcement and executive authorities with the media serves as a means of optimizing the activity of each of these structures: for the media it is an opportunity to improve public information on issues of fighting crime (including ensuring the necessary openness of law enforcement activities), and improving the public's awareness of disasters or emergencies situations. Another such interaction helps the mass media structure to form a sense of justice and the right of the population. For law enforcement and enforcement authorities, this is primarily a way of obtaining assistance from the population in solving their tasks and a way of expanding the sources of information necessary to perform certain functions
