Abstract
The article is about attempts of the Orthodox clergy of the city of Lutsk to adjudge the village of Korsovtsy possessed by the local Dominican monastery , which had long belonged to the lost Dmitry Church in the city of Lutsk. The filed case in this regard, contains copies of unique ancient documents. The results of the adjudge illustrate the role of the law of limitation in the Russian legal system, due to which the Orthodox Church has not managed to give back many of its legitimate possessions.
