Journal Title: Journal of Science and today’s world - Year 2018, Vol 7, Issue 7
Abstract
The present study was conducted with the aim of evaluating the suppliers of parts of Parsian Gas Refining Company based on the BOCR model with the analytic hierarchy process approach in 2017. Innovation in this research is the selection of supplier assessment indices based on the BOCR model, which has been less used in previous research. 12 supplier assessment indices were identified based on the research background and were classified into four general categories, including benefits (good quality, flexibility, product diversity), opportunities (organization's credit, simultaneous design, discount), costs (product price, cost of assessment and inspection, transport cost) and risks (high failure rates, delayed orders, mismatches between orders and receipts). The statistical population of the present study is the community and the statistical sample of this research is composed of 7 senior managers of Painar Behdasht Co. (Ahvaz, Iran). The weights of supplier selection indices were determined by the group-analytic hierarchy process method. The results showed that the? indices had a higher weight than other indices. According to the final results of the study, suppliers No. 2, 1, and 3 with the importance weights of 0.353, 0.328 and 0.319 accounted for ranks 1 to 3, respectively.
