SUSTAINABLE HOUSEHOLD DESIGN FOR THE CONDITIONS OF BLACK SEA REGION

Abstract

This paper devoted to designing the sustainable household for the conditions of Black Sea region. Subject of re-search is the socioecosystem of village building which is situated in rural area near the river valley recreational site. The aim is to create the frame project of household according to the conception of Sustainable development consider-ing special for Black Sea region conditions. Scientific novelty: 1. Due to local natural and anthropogenic conditions of the Black Sea region, the principles of sustainable development, well-known technical solutions and methods in the field of energy efficiency, the frame project of sustainable household was made, which can be used for private residential buildings and in the network of rural green tourism in education for sustainable development. 2. Methods of evaluating energy efficiency in private households were improved by developing software in MicrosoftExcel envi-ronment for modeling energy systems of residential buildings and opportunities to increase their energy efficiency through walls insulation and using of renewable energy in terms of the Black Sea region. Implementation fields: ur-ban studies, education for sustainable development, green tourism, assessment and improving of buildings’ energy ef-ficiency. Conclusions; 1. Considering the local natural and anthropogenic conditions of the Black Sea region, the principles of sustainable development, well-known technical solutions and methods in the field of energy efficiency, the frame project of sustainable household was made, which is based on the systems of categories (water efficiency, energy efficiency, waste minimization, smart consumption, residental safety, local producer support) and can be used in the network of rural green tourism in education for sustainable development. 2. Methods of evaluating energy effi-ciency in private households were improved by developing software in MicrosoftExcel environment for modeling en-ergy systems of residential buildings and opportunities to increase their energy efficiency through walls insulation and using of renewable energy in terms of the Black Sea region. 3. Energy efficient heating system for residential buildings based on the combination of technologies of thermal insulation (energy-efficient windows, heat recovery installation), orthogonal wind turbine, solar collectors, and solid fuel boiler was designed. 4. Implementation of pro-posed in the study measures will allow to reduce the amount of household’s wastes by 20–40 %, usage of clean water by 15–20 %, airpollution by 65–70 %, usageof fossil fuel in the heating system by 68 %.
