SYNTHESIS AND EVALUATION OF SOME NEW PHENYL THIAZOLE DERIVATIVES FOR THEIR ANTI-INFLAMMATORY ACTIVITES
Journal Title: Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research - Year 2009, Vol 1, Issue 4
Abstract
The present research work is aimed to synthesize some novel substituted phenyl thiazole. The fifteen new derivatives of phenyl thiazole (Scheme) were synthesized during the course of research work. The structures of compounds have been established by means of FT IR, 1H-NMR and CHN elemental analysis. All the compounds were evaluated for anti-inflammatory activity by Carrageenan Induced Rat hind paw method. Out of fifteen compounds T1 T4, T6, T11, T13, and T14 show maximum anti-inflammatory activity.
