Synthesis, Charcerization and Antibacterial Activity Offerrocene Derivatives

Abstract

Oxazole derivatives of ferrocene have been synthesized. Acetyl ferrocenewas reacted with substituted benzaldehyde to get substituted chalcones of ferrocene. These were further reacted with hydroxylamine hydrochloride to get oxazole derivatives. Synthesized compoundswere characterized by FT-IR, and H1 -NMR spectroscopy, these were further evaluated for their Antibacterial activity.
