SYSTEM OF EXERCISES FOR STUDY OF VERB AND ITS GRAMMATICAL CATEGORIES BY FOREIGN MEDICAL STUDENTS

Abstract

The article proposes a method of studying the verb and its grammatical categories by the foreign medical students in educational institution of Ukraine; developed a system of exercises aimed at enriching the vocabulary of foreigners, the development of oral and written, monologue and dialogical speech, the improvement of skills from all types of speech activities. It describes a method of studying the verb and its grammatical categories by the foreign medical students, which includes: the formation of the notion of a verb as part of language, development of skills to change verbs, to recognize the verbs I and II conjugation; it is expedient to use verbs of certain type; the enrichment of the dictionary with new verbs, the development of skills for accurate and informed use of verbs in oral and writing expressions. It is proven the verbs should be started from the first lesson, but thorough the study must be done on the basis of the students’ knowledge of the peculiarities of the use of nouns, adjectives and pronouns in certain cases. The method of studying of the verb its grammatical categories is analyzed; the system of exercises directed on the improvement of the acquired knowledge, the development of appropriate skills in the use of verbal forms in professional activity is proposed.
