Abstract
(Szabó Dénes and the Pictures of the Fotofi lm in the National Széchényi Library) A most valuable part of the stock of photographs of the National Széchényi Library (NSZL) is constituted by the Transylvanian Collection, which has become available for research recently. The study off ers an insight into this work. It must be emphasized that research is at an initial stage and the presentation of the collection at conferences and in studies is aimed to enhance relevant knowledge and to fi nd research partners both in Hungary and in Transylvania in order to produce a larger scale study.
