Abstract
The author presents the fi gure of Norbert Bonczyk, based on the major topics of his biography and highlights the role of schools and teachers in the life of the priest and poet. Using selected fragments of his work, the author emphasizes great respect for the teaching profession and school. The author considers that contemporary teachers should take an interest in the fi gure of Father Norbert Bonczyk, as he can be an inspiration for them in spite of the changing reality of the modern world.
