Tactics of administring patients having gastroesophageal reflux disease

Abstract

According to previous studies, gastroesophageal reflux disease is associated with a high risk of cardiac arrhythmias. In addition, the drugs used to treat the disease, according to the literature, may promote arrhythmias.In this connection, the article gives the heart rate variability indexes obtained from the analysis of Holter monitoring data taken from 71 patients experiencing gastroesophageal reflux disease, estimates the correlation of these indicators with the indicators of the state of the pH in the esophagus.
