TEACHING AND LEARNING STUDENT’S COMPETENCES FORMATION IN «ATOMIC AND NUCLEAR PHYSICS» SECTION STUDIES

Abstract

The question of teaching and learning student’s competence formation in Physics studying is analyzed in the article. In the article, the basic educational competences and functions are considered, such as individual competence, motivational incentive, gnostic, active, emotional and volitional. The author figured out the major teaching and learning competence, which helps to find the way to form the following competences: communicative, social work, self-improvement, informational, value-semantic, and general cultural competence. Teaching experiment in the "Atomic and Nuclear Physics" section studies confirmed that the performance of specific learning tasks that requires the active learning of students is formed along with educational and cognitive students’ competence and other emerging competences. We should emphasize that the process of students’ competences formation requires significant changes in curricula and programs, a radical reconsideration of the educational process and changes in teacher-student cooperation.
