TEACHING ENGLISH TO LAW STUDENTS THROUGH SOCIAL NETWORKS

Abstract

The article reveals the problem of social networks applying in teaching English to future lawyers. Specifics, pedagogical power and functions of social networks applying in higher legal education are defined. Social networks is rapidly evolving phenomenon in modern society which offer various platforms such as blogs and wikis both for teachers and students. Social media provides lots of benefits in language educational process. This article will bring to light how widespread and familiar social networks are able to support and improve students' knowledge and skills in legal English, how it’s possible to use them in the legal language field. The data of this article is based on reviewing materials related to communicative competence formation and role of social media in this process. It's reviewing new ways of teaching, learning and improving legal English language as a foreign language for students of faculty of law.
