TECHNICAL AND ECONOMIC ASPECTS OF THE ELECTRIC VEHICLES USE IN POWER NETWORKS OF UKRAINE

Abstract
Purpose. To substante technical and economic feasibility of Vehicle-to-Grid technology implementation in conditions of electric networks of Ukraine. Methodology. Standard methods of calculation and simulation of electric networks operating modes have been used. Findings. The feasibility of the development of decentralized power supply systems based on electric vehicles in Ukraine's electric networks has been proven. Consumers-regulators using V2G technology are able to improve the profitability and environmental friendliness of the electric energy production and consumption processes significantly and bring additional benefits to owners in case they are involved in the alignment of the schedule of the grid electrical loads. Typical patterns of electric vehicle usage as a consumer-regulator of load have been proposed. The rational tariff for electric energy in the implementation of V2G technology and possible economic effect in the conditions of group and distributed generation have been substantiated. Originality. The order of the expediency analysis of using electric vehicle as a consumer-regulator for car owners and owners of group charging stations depending on their mode of use and charging system for electric energy has been proposed. The expediency of decentralized storage sources development based on traction batteries secondary use has been substantiated. Practical value. The results can be used to assess the feasibility of implementing the V2G-technology by car owners and energy supplying organizations in case of insufficient bandwidth of networks for their unloading during power system’ peak hours and alignment of the load curve.
