TECHNOGENIC HAZARDS IN KIEV REGION: INVENTORY AND MAPPING

Abstract
Potential hazards of technogenic character on the territory of Kiev region have been reviewed. According to the State Emergency Services among the region’s greatest technogenic hazards the highest are radiation, hydrodynamic and chemical. Presentation of hazard has been reviewed at three levels: national, regional and local. Using mapping method the regional analysis of technogenic objects representing a potential threat to people’s lives placement in Kyiv region has been carried out.
