Teknolojinin Soğuk Yüzü: “Homo Faber”

Abstract
Max Frisch’in başyapıtlarından biri olan “Homo Faber” adlı roman, kişinin kendisine, topluma ve çevresine karşı yabancılaşmasını dile getiren bir eserdir. Modern zamanlarla birlikte ortaya çıkan ve insanı ontolojik anlamda sorgulayan yabancılaşma olgusu, kişinin özne olarak ilişkilerini ele alırken yabancı yaşam biçimlerine karşı olan yenilgisini ortaya koyar. Bir dönemin metinsel yüzü olarak modern insanın geçirdiği değişim ve dönüşümü yansıtan Homo Faber, kimliğin toplumsal özelliklerden yalıtık olarak geliştiğini gösteren bir eserdir. Frisch’in bu romanında, modern çağın getirdiklerinin kişinin varoluşsal endişe ve kaygılarını artırarak hayatını nasıl sorguladığını gözler önüne sermiştir.
