TEMPERATURE OF THE TOP LEVEL SURFACE OF PARTS OF AGRICULTURAL SOIL TILLING MACHINERY. PART II – THERMOVISION MEASUREMENTS
Journal Title: Tribologia - Year 2015, Vol 260, Issue 2
Abstract
Using a thermal camera, the temperature distribution of the surfaces of ploughshares, subsoil shanks, and cultivator tooth coulters was determined. These parts worked in soil conditions during operation in the field. The ploughshares’ temperature distribution was more diverse than subsoil shanks and cultivator tooth coulters. The front parts of the ploughshares had the highest temperature (in particular soil tillage with low moisture ~ 8.4%). This shows a heavy load from the ground. Moreover, the subsoil shanks, and cultivator tooth coulters’ temperatures were similar with a slight increase of the half-length their parts.

A STUDY OF TRIBOLOGICAL LOAD CAPACITY OF VARIOUS FRICTION PAIRS
The paper presents and experimentally verifies a testing method of friction pairs between various materials: steel-cast iron, cast iron-cast iron, and cast iron-ferodo. The applied methodology for the evaluation of tribo...
PROPERTIES OF ELECTRODEPOSITED Ni-Mo COATINGS
Mechanical and tribological properties of electrodeposited Ni-Mo coating were studied. Coatings of 30 μm thickness were deposited under different cathodic current densities 0.5–5 A/dm2 on steel disc substrates. Microhard...
ESTIMATION OF THE WEAR MECHANISM IN SLIDING CONTACT OF SATELITE GEARS OF A HYDRAULIC MOTOR
The paper presents tests of the wear of selected elements of a hydraulic satellite engine in sliding contact. The tests were carried out on the tribotester T-05 in a roll-block system, taking into account the influence o...
