Temperature studies of optical absorption in the sandwich structure based on (Ag3AsS3)0.6(As2S3)0.4 thin film and gold nanoparticles
Journal Title: Semiconductor Physics, Quantum Electronics and Optoelectronics - Year 2018, Vol 21, Issue 1
Abstract
(Ag3AsS3)0.6(As2S3)0.4 thin films deposited using the thermal evaporation technique onto glass substrates previously covered with layers of gold nanoparticles were studied. Optical transmission spectra of the sandwich structure were studied within the temperature range 77…300 K. The absorption spectra in the region of its exponential behaviour were analyzed, the dispersion dependences of refractive index as well as the temperature dependences of the energy pseudogap and Urbach energy were investigated. The disordering processes in the sandwich structure were discussed. The comparative analyses of optical parameters in single (Ag3AsS3)0.6(As2S3)0.4 layer and in the sandwich structure were performed.

Growth of silicon self-assembled nanowires by using gold-enhanced CVD technology
In spite of the fact that, a great deal of experimental research has been published, there is a lack of good understanding of silicon nanowires growth to exert control over important properties of the system, though it p...
Dose dependence of tensoresistance for the symmetrical orientation of the deformation axis relatively to all isoenergetic ellipsoids in γ-irradiated (60Co) n-Si crystals
The dose dependence of tensoresistance X /0, which was measured at the symmetrical orientation of the deformation axis (compression) relatively to all isoenergetic ellipsoids both in the initial and in -irradiated sam...

Direct synthesized graphene-like film on SiO2: Mechanical and optical properties
Exploiting CVD technique for carbon deposition from C2H2+H2+N2 mixture, a graphene-like film synthesized directly on SiO2 surface of SiO2-Si structure was obtained. The graphene-like film was grown under thin Ni layer th...
Comparison of some different ways used for approximate solution of kinetic equation and calculations of carrier mobility
Consideration of different problems of physical kinetics shows that obtained non-equilibrium distribution function and following kinetic coefficients calculated are significantly dependent on choice of approach to approx...
