ТЕОРЕТИЧНІ ЗАСАДИ ЕКОНОМІЧНОЇ СТІЙКОСТІ ПІДПРИЄМСТВА

Abstract
The scientific article presents the results of the research on the theory of economic sustainability and clarification of the concept «economic sustainability of the enterprise». The interdisciplinary status of the category «sustainability» causes the ambiguity and contradictory nature of the economic definitions, which complicates research of such issues as evaluation and ensurance of economic sustainability under the current conditions of the enterprise. On the basis of the conducted terminological analysis, the scientific positions regarding the study of economic sustainability of the enterprise are conditionally distributed to such thematic areas as attributive, productive and providing. Comparison of interrelated categories «sustainability — adaptability — variability — equilibrium» has allowed to provide a more precise author definition of economic sustainability, taking into account the current specific features of the enterprise management environment.
