Abstract
Cross-cultural competence is an integral personal quality characterized by the synthesis of special knowledge, skills, social and value behavior in accordance with foreign language norms and values and value orientations on a foreign-language culture. The author gives a definition of the concept of technology educational project. In the process of cross-cultural training of future specialists in the field of tourism, an example of an educational project is the development of a tourist tour. The joint work of the teacher, Ukrainian and foreign students on the development of the tourist tour is a kind of partnership, the result of which is the creation of a common educational product (tourist tour). A cross-cultural educational project is a unique activity of representatives of different cultures, regulated by the established terms, aimed at achieving a predictable result or creating a certain, unique educational product or service, in accordance with available resources and requirements for its quality.
