TEXT REALIZATION OF THE FUNCTIONALLY SEMANTIC CATEGORY OF INTENSITY IN DIALOGUE UNITS IN FICTION (BASED ON THE ENGLISH AND RUSSIAN LANGUAGES)

Abstract
The article describes the language units expressing the meaning of the functionally semantic category of intensity both in English and Russian. The list of the language units expressing intensity includes morphological, lexical and syntactical language units. The analysis of the text realization of intensity is based on fiction communicative situations. In the course of the analysis we have chosen three situations: communication between friends, communication between the stuff and the chief and communication between the police officer/lawyer and the suspect/witness. The language means of intensity and contextual variables as well as the communicative situation structure are interrelated.
