The balance-optimization model of the Ukrainian power sector and fuel industries mutually coordinated operation in the view of European environmental legislation
Journal Title: Проблеми загальної енергетики - Year 2018, Vol 0, Issue 1
Abstract
The balance-optimization model of production type has been developed for simulation and forecasting of mutually coordinated operation of power sector and fuel industries within fuel and energy complex (FEC) of Ukraine. A distinctive feature of the model is the simultaneous consideration of fuel and power industries making it possible to assure energy security requirements by evaluating the dependable development levels of primary energy sources and producers of electricity and heat. Production of fuel resources, as well as their use by electric and thermal energy generation plants, is presented in the model within the framework of a single approach by L.V. Kantorovich’s production activity, providing optimal solution for mutually corresponding amounts of fuel and energy domestic production in the energy sector development and forecasting problems. The production activity, as a structural basis of the model of production type, was used to account environmental pollutants as additional products of electricity and heat production technologies for assessing the impact of European environmental legislation.

Automation control of high-power electric boilers as an efficient way of decreasing the nonuniformity of diurnal curves of power loads of the Integrated Power System
On the example of the Central Power System of Ukraine, we consider the possibility of using a present-day electrothermal complex (ETC), consisting of high-power electric boilers and intended for the regulation of load of...
Estimation of the prospect of using brown coal at the thermal power plants of Ukraine
The aim of this article is to determine the prospect of using brown coal at thermal power plants (TPP). For this purpose, we compare the technical-and-economic charactecteristics of power units with flame burning of bitu...
Assessment of critical scenarios on the receipt of investments for the development of Ukrainian generating capacities
We analyze the existing plans and programs for the development of generating capacities of the Ukrainian UPS and, on this basis, form the variants of prospects of their implementation depending on the amount of financing...
Ukraine's power station coal production pattern and potential
It is established that Ukraine has to import power station coal due to the decline in coal output in Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts caused by combat operations and the resulting decrease in coal reserves at its thermal powe...
Estimation of the efficiency of functioning of the local market of heat energy
In this article, we consider the technological principles of functioning of the heat supply system in Ukraine. It is determined that the necessity of creating a heat energy market can be justified by unresolved problems...
