The characteristic of methods of innovations’ comercialization process managing

Abstract

Introduction. In modern conditions, the commercial implementation of scientific developments in the activities of the company is becoming increasingly relevant. It is not advisable to develop a product that can`t be sold, because this process requires high costs of both time and money. In practice, only a small part of the development gets to the final stage of commercialization. This is due to the fact that the management of commercialization is carried out without the use of the necessary guidelines. Purpose. The purpose of the article is to consider existing methods of managing the process of innovations` commercialization and to form a general management method on their basis. Results. The article considers the main methods of managing the process of innovations` commercialization: information support, innovation project, risk management, development of scenarios. Each method has a characteristic and their effectiveness had been evaluated. The methods can be used both separately and complement each other. In addition, some methods intersect in part. The methods for managing the commercialization of innovation have been grouped in such a way as to obtain a general effective management method. It is determined that it is advisable to start the process of managing with the development of scenarios and, based on it, proceed to the creation of an innovative project that is based on the provided information and related to risk management. The method of risk management should be presented at the development of each plan, starting with financial and marketing. Conclusion. After analyzing different methods of managing the process of innovations` commercialization, it has been decided that it is necessary to use each of them at certain stages. The use of effective methods for managing commercialization of innovations will prevent the loss of time and finance, as well as stop non-prospective projects. In further research it is expedient to consider additional management methods, to determine the possibility of their use in the field of commercialization in order to increase the profitability of obtaining positive results.
